Bill Russell is visual journalist. He graduated from Parsons School of Design in 1976, then became a freelance illustrator for magazines, books and newspapers. For seven years beginning in 1994, Bill was Adjunct Professor of Illustration at the California College of the Arts, as well as a part time staff artist at the San Francisco Chronicle where he illustrated a weekly panel called the Bay Folk Sketchbook. With Profile Reportage, Bill Russell expands his illustrative and narrative approach to new markets and clients.
